For those who don't know who Xavier Henry is, he's the #1 recruit out of high school this year and he was going to go to Memphis until calipari left. Now he's decided on KU.

the mc'd all star game is a joke anyway. they don't play defense or even try to do anything except play 1 on 1 while the rest of the players watch. But he DID look good in the game when he had the ball...

I'm an OU guy, but always root for KU against other opponents. Spent some time there several years back and got to see a game there. Truly a great venue and fans. (ROOOOOOOOCK CHAAAAAAALK JAYYYYYYYY HAWWWWWWK. KKKKKKK UUUUUUU songs/chants) Fear the Fogg.

Good to see them with top talent once again. Ironic to see the banner count for KU and Roy since they parted.

Didn't Henry have a brother who was at KU??

At this point I'm happy that Roy left. I think Self is a better recruiter. Both Henry's parents went to KU and played BBall, I think. Not often do they get any "one and done" players so this year is really exciting. Especially given that they probably would have been a top 3 team without Henry. They are stacked this year. Should be a fun Big 12 Season. Willie Warren should have a good year for OU. Worried about Texas.

Look as much as I hate to say it (and I live in wildcat territory) the best team in college basketball this year will be The University of Kentucky Wildcats.

When you get 4 of the top 10 high school players, added to a few players from last year, that means Chapmionship.

And to mention anyone elses name besides John Wall as NCAA Basketball player of the year, and number one overall pick in the 2010-2011 NBA draft is just a joke, and your lying to yourself.

Why are you constantly a douche when it comes to college sports?

I damn sure don't think Xavier is going to be the best college player this year. Because he won't need to be. This KU team is just as loaded as the 2008 team. A little less experience overall, but just as loaded with talent. Keep in mind that KU hasn't had "one-and-done" talent since Roy was the coach.... And this team was better than Kentucky last year..... And they're not missing anybody from last years team..... And they've only gotten better...... and you'll get the point.

Kentucky in the next few years though, look out! As long as calipari doesn't get busted for paying fools. Cause you know he does.

Kentucky had two people last year on their team. Patterson came back, he is a first team sec pick the last two years. He will not play neraly as much as he has in the past because of the talent they brought in. Does that tell you something?

I hate the fucking wildcats. So I couldnt care less what calapari does or how he does it, but anything less then a Championship this year with this team equals a complete failure.

Actually, I believe the Jayhawks are the preseason #1, receiving 55 of 60 first place votes. Kentucky is coming in top 5 I believe, but it's pretty widely known that KU is the #1 team coming into this thing. YOU are the one making dumb assumptions here, dude. I was just calling you on it. The FACTS back what I'm saying here, I would NEVER be spouting off if that wasn't the case. You're basing a team being good off of 4 freshman. I'm basing a team being good off of returning players and a couple key additions.
