Ben Henderson wants GSP after Melendez
I saw on FB on a reliable MMA news site that Bendo's manager stated they want GSP after Melendez.
I don't think this is a good idea, what do they think Bendo has that no one else has offered GSP?
I don't have a link...just sharing what I read.

Are you kidding me? (if true) ummmmm... no. Benson doesn't deserve the jump up. you've defended against 1 other person than the previous title holder, Gil will make 2. If your huge ass wants to fight welterweight a couple of times, then by all means. No way the UFC will take this request seriously
Very bad move. Ben is a great fighter, but part of his advantage is that he is a huge LW. I don't see him being able to do anything to GSP.

Right now there are too many challengers at 170 for Ben to jump ahead of them. You always have to prove yourself more if you are moving up in weight than moving down. Aldo getting an immediate shot makes sense. GSP and Silva getting a shot if they moved up makes sense too. Bendo, not so much.
