is it just me, or is nascar probably the most boring thing to ever exist, i have no idea how anyone can watch it.
The place someone finishes at Daytona is not real indicative of skill. Its a long race, always has tons of crashes and track location when the wreck happens are as much about luck as skill.
Lets see her at Phoenix this weekend before declaring she is legit. I don't see her finishing in the top 20 overall standings this year nor ever competing for a win, but she may be a middle of the packer.
I would say 8th is awesome for someone with her lack of experience, but Trevor Bayne WON the Daytona two years ago as a rookie.

its certainly not for everyone thats for sure. I used to be the guy that watched every lap of every race. Not anymore, I watch may be 10 races a year now. It does get boring after a while.

I never really liked nascar until I went to a race, its pretty crazy seeing them do 200mph in a large group. You can barely even tell the color of the car as they go by, just a blur and the loudest noise you can imagine.
