Paul's was absolutely better, but Rubio went directly at the democratic narrative on several points and obliterated it. Working class neighborhood, immigrant parents, just finished paying off school loans a few months ago, understanding and living the free-market dream of opportunity -- Romney could NOT make that speech.

Except when you got down to the policy points, he could. It was only the messenger, and points about the messenger that were different. It makes it harder to attack him for it, he's not a sliver spoon rich dude, but it's the same message that failed to resonate with voters last time.

Housing bubble propping up the economy? I know were in a housing bubble but I'd always thought our economy is more influenced by our natural resources and the price of oil. Still though...I don't know if I'd be investing in one of those $400,000 400sq.ft condos in Toronto.
