I wanted to make a minor clarification. Simpson's agent confirmed that he wasn't cut, his contract expired and he wasn't offered a new one. They said the UFC was up front with him the whole time and he was happy with his WSOF deal. Semantics I know, but figured it was worth mentioning.

This happens a lot when people get "cut" from the UFC.
