So wait, why does everyone say that he is going to get killed? Is there an order to kill him on site or something? Or do they just plan to arrest him instead?

The reason they think he is going to wind up dead is because the cops have already shot up 3 people showing no resemblance to Dorner, or showing no threat to the officers. You have a guy that is targeting them, is airing the LAPD's dirty laundry, would anyone be shocked if there is a kill order?
And yes someone brought up the thermal drones earlier.
Hmmm... Sounds like a conspiracy in the making. I briefly listened to some audio a few days ago and he was talking about how the LAPD are doing bad things (I am sure that he is as well). So why bring him to court when he can expose some dirty little secretes, killing him seems like a safer bet for the LAPD.
Oh well, even if the LAPD is doing awful things, most people won't entertain it because of their normalcy bias. Interesting story none the less...
