I have a cousin that lives in Mt. Oliver, so I go over there every once on a while. It's definitely not great over there, but it's also nothing compared to Beltzhoover, Knoxville, and those other neighborhoods over in the South Hilltop part of the city.

No doubt about that. Funny how everyone thinks Mt Washington is this lovely place, but once they go back a few blocks from the cliffside it gets a dark.

Side note: My dad works in East Liberty and when I used to live with them, I would go pick him up at work sometimes. He would always try to get me to take a shortcut through Homewood. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK that dood. I do NOT get near Homewood either.

No doubt about that. Funny how everyone thinks Mt Washington is this lovely place, but once they go back a few blocks from the cliffside it gets a dark.

East Liberty isn't great itself. But it's getting better. A lot of young artists are moving over there because apartments are so cheap. They just put some new grocery stores in, and other little shops are popping up as well. But yeah, over on the East End, Homewood, Wilkinsburg, etc, is rough as ****, although there is a little bit of population density over there. Where the South Hilltop area(Beltzhoover, Knoxville) is just 100% hood lol.
