I'd agree with you that his problems are mental. I've always called him a front runner, if he finds success early then he builds confidence and can be deadly, but if his opponent gives him no respect and just gets after him, he NEVER mounts any kind of comeback!

Same with if he has success early but doesn't end it, he loses heart!

Remember this is a guy that was butt scooting and flopping to the ground vs that dangerous striker SAKURABA!!!

This right there. Once he gets hit/rocked/stunned, it's almost like game over for him. That, and the fact that he has almost no power in his punches.

Sucks too. I was actually kinda pulling for him against Vitor.

It had crossed my mind to be honest, although knowing Vitor for being a front runner, I recall he broke his hand early, having been busting up Saku pretty good.

So I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say it was simply his finest moment in the "Ahhh, I don't fancy it anymore!" way he has.

Yeah I forgot that fight. IIRC he looked like he would stop Sak early and then broke his hand and gave up. Can't fault him for losing after breaking his hand. I think I would verbally submit instead of fighting on poorly
