    We're lucky to get a high of 30 during the day here. Last few nights has gotten down to about 10. However, it's supposed to get into the mid-50s this weekend, which is very much unseasonably warm. I'll take it tho, that's for sure.

    54 here in KC today. 59 on Friday......then 29 by Sunday. Schizophrenic weather.

    It got up to a balmy +1C today much nicer than the -28C I woke up to this morning (that's -19F for you luddites). That was cold.

    Dropped 15 degrees in 8 minutes at 3am this morning.

    Don't want to have to deal with that again too soon. Looking after kids is hard enough without having to try and keep them happy in a house with no air con. We did go to a "mall" though to cool off for a bit, but the car got a good workout too (it has air con too).

    Hottest day in Australia's (white) history if the news reports are to believed.
