Dealing with cold feet?

How does one cope with the fact that are going to married, spend the rest of their lives together? 6-8 months ago I was cool as a cucumber, now I realize I’m about to get married to someone that gets on my nerves and cannot bare to be around for more than a few hours. I get married on Saturday January 5th, and now I feel nervous as hell. I went to 2 older siblings and went into greater detail on certain things I felt and worried me, their response was that’s how they felt going into their first marriages. How soon will it be until I get my balls cut off and the decision making changes drastically? I use to see a buddy of mine that was so miserable after he got married and use to think he just didn’t have a spine, no testicular fortitude to stand up to his wife. Will this to happen to me? I haz a sad.

You know how many jitters I had before my wedding? None. If you're really this worried and being around her is a chore, this **** is over, dude. It's just a matter of who realizes it first, and when.

I can't understand how we evolved into a species that wants to spend usually at least half our life with the same person, in the same house and bed, with for the most part the same set of rules, but I've never been married, so what do I know about the beauty of it. It's just the divorce rates seem to suggest I'm on point with how I feel now.
