I used to go to Canada every summer when I was younger for vacation. It's nice up there...except for all the smugness

p.s. there's a Tim Horton's in Penn Station in NYC...never been to it though. I had the same reaction..."who the fuck is this Tim Horton guy?"

Tim Hortons >>>> Krispy Kreme (sound too much like the dried leftovers of some low budget porn shoot)

Kilometers: At first kind of cool to see "100" on a speed limit sign....but then you realize you only going 62 in American.

Fast Food: The "On Routes" are cool. Similar to our Rest Stops but with fast food places. KFC SUCKS in Canada. Its like they missed the 11 KFC secret spices and just breaded and fried some
chicken. Taco Bells were interesting. Their Nachos have fries instead of chips.

I didn't meet a single person that said "eh,..."

Whats up with Gas? I know its liters, but the posted prices were like 117.9....117 what...for what?

At restaurants, when you pay your bill with a card, they bring out a wireless credit card machine to your table and swipe the card in front of you.

Molson beer was alright with me.

Stayed at the Marriot Falls View hotel. The two attached picture where taken from my room window. Pretty awesome view. You could just sit in bed and see that view....pretty much from the whole room.Attachment 703Attachment 704
Damn, makes me wonder if I should have tried KFC last time I was in the States! I've always hated KFC, but I've only ever had it in Canada....
Gas is 117.9 cents per litre. So like $1.18 per litre, you'll have to work out the conversion to gallons on your own, but generally gas in the USA is somewhat cheaper.
Do you guys still not have debit cards down there? Like, a bank card that you have a pin # that you can use to purchase pretty much anything that takes the money directly out of chequing/savings? Anyway, with pretty much all our VISA cards requiring a pin # as well now, it makes the wireless machine at the table pretty much a prerequisite.

Depends on where you're at. In Vancouver, there's only one place where you can get any real touching. But at $50 per song, you go upstairs to a mostly private area and can touch anywhere except the pu$$y. I've only been to strip clubs a handful of times, but I was pretty surprised when, after the girl asking me if I preferred butts or boobs, she was leading my hand to her a$$shole. I was like, Jesus Christ, can't you just shake your $hit in my face? I need to be more drunk to know what you ate for lunch.
Apparently in Toronto there's a club or two with limited touching, but in Montreal you can get basically whatever you want.

Nope. They have that $hit on monopoly, and they know it. If you wanna have your hands all over her, it'll cost you. Lots of money being thrown around in Vancouver; there's no real shortage of clients I imagine.

Make it a priority next time you visit the states. Its like night and day. Then try some Popeyes Chicken.

That's just weird to take it to cent level. Just say 1 dollar and 17 cents.

We do. But you just enter your pin at the ATM. When you use it at a restaurant, it runs just like a regular credit card. I asked the waiter and he said it was for security reasons. The card never leaves the table when they bring the machine to you.

The only "hands on" strip club around here is about 50 miles from KC. Its called "The Million Dollar Fantasy Ranch". You can touch everywhere there is not fabric. You pay an extra cover charge to enter the touch-allowed zone, but lap dances are the same prices ($20...cover $20 too).

Ahh yeah, forgot to mention that up here (in almost all areas) strip clubs are full nude. That $50 hands-on dance begins when she's naked and the next song starts.

I don't see how this is possible. I'm not a real big sweets/junk food guy but Krispy Kreme doughnuts are ****in ridiculously good. Now I need go find me a Tim Horton's to find out for myself!

Also, how big of an idiot does it make me if when I saw Tim Horton's in this thread(had never seen it before), my first thought was that it had something to do with Horton Hears a Who?
