Even with remembering basically everything here, I totally and completely forgot about the 24 hour thread. That stuff was awesome. This place really does completely suck compared to how it used to be. I don't really think it's too bad now, I really don't. I just can't stress enough that a MAJOR part of this site died when Ryan did.
Sad to think about but no one else gives anywhere near the **** that he did. I really think Weekly would be HUGE right now. Bigger than Junkie for sure, possibly bigger than MMAFighting but Helwani is goddamn good. Still, this would be one of the absolute top MMA sites if Bennett was still alive.
Again, not a knock on anyone. Those are big ass shoes to fill and unrealistic expectations for the dudes who run it now to live up to. Ryan never would've let this place become what it has but without him, it can't possibly be what it would've been.
