Default Official Boxing "The Fights" Thread

I decided to make this thread because we don't have a lot of participation in the separate threads for each upcoming fight.

Tonight was Cotto vs Trout. Very solid peformance from Trout. I had him winning by a few rounds and he seemed to dominate with his size, solid defense and combination work that Cotto had no answer for. Trout has never had the opportunity on the big stage and he proved he belonged tonight. Awesome performance. He seems like a really good dude too.

A fight with him and Canelo would be a lot of fun.

11-1 was retarded. Fight was closer than that but no doubt trout won it. He looked great and very prepared. Cotto looked old in that fight. Puerto Rico seems that won't have a boxing star for a while.

I'm actually pumped up for Pacquaio-Marquez 4 ...It should be interesting. I gotta figure out how I'm going to watch with UFC on Fox though

Not sure how concerned you are with the undercard, but I saw a quote from Dana saying that UFC on Fox will be over before the Pacquaio-Marquez fight starts.

yeah, UFC has done this lately. They recognize they can't compete against the heavy hitters in boxing, so they just do an early show that leads to the main event of boxing. so relax murph, I will also watch both things

Well the real debate is do I want to spend all that money for one fight since I'll be doing UFC on Fox first or should I just go out for both

KO of the decade for sure. Marquez and pacman was close, both of them knocked each other down. but marquez with a violent right-counter that sent pacman to hell literally. WOW! what a counter
