In between weight classes
On occasion you see guys that just seem to be in between weight classes. I was just watching some old video of Richard Hale at 205. He seemed to be a beast but apparently struggled with the weight. Now fighting at Heavyweight he is doing well but is usually undersized compared to his opponent. In situations like these, what do you think is the better route for the fighter, make the hard cut and risk cardio effects or be undersized? Thoughts?
