Thats part of it, I dont know how great he would be in the NFL again, but he would be a rockstar in college.

I have heard from several people at Tennessee that its done, but I dont believe its done yet.

I will believe it only if there is a press conference recruiting him.

He is young enough, and his history on MNF and the Super Bowl ring, he would a freakin beast recruiting and would have a decided advantage talent wise against everyone not named Alabama each year.

Talk is bringing in Chad Morris to run the office. Gruden has been studying the Oregon spread a lot (not a huge fan), but Morris is the current OC at Clemson.

The other name being talked about is Shoop for OC.

Zook and Raheem Morris might both be on Defensive staff.

Gruden is different then Weis as he has been a successful head coach.

Also, Gruden is a huge student of the game, his offense wouldnt nessesarily look the same.

We are right at done with Fulmer with the last payment coming I believe next month.

Gruden would fill nearly 6 million more in seats.

UT is giving back 6 million per year over at least the next 3 years to the athletic department.

We are paying Kiffin NOTHING, he left, we never paid him a dime after that.

So we are only paying Dooley.

Charlie Weiss won what titles? He was a coordinator for New England which amounts to zero. Bill Belicheck wins and his coordinators are totally unneccesary - he didn't even replace Weis after he left. Can someone like Charlie Weis recruit?

Monte Kiffin? Again, who cares about a coordinator when we are talking about a head coach. Gruden has won everywhere he has been so why is he overrated? College football is about recruiting and building a program through the recruiting process. Can he improve the Tennessee program? Can he recruit and satisy Tennessee bosters as the hire? Yes and yes.

The Raiders have been the laughing stock of the NFL since Gruden left so saying he is overrated is in comparison to who?

Lol you guys are idiots....what has the pats done without Weis? They've lost 2 super bowls. Monte kiffin failed due to not wanting to cover the spread offenses. Lane kiffin has failed at USC.

uT is still on probation from Lane. Not to mention all the semi good players at UT are gone after this season.

Gruden knows QBs thats it his superbowl win was a fluke best 500 coach ever pretty much there's a reason he left asap.

I would love for him to coach UT it would be a easy win for my gators every year...oh wait it has been for years my bad. Gruden will get chewed up and spit out in CFB he has no connections with HS coaches. His staff the rumors are saying not one coached in CFB. None of them have had to sit down with a 5 star kid who's 17 18 who has the world given to him on a silver plate. He's never dealt with other coaches telling that family lies about him. He's never had 20/h a week to coach and put in his system. He's never dealt with people paying these kids to play.

Jay Graham and Pittman are currently college coaches.

If he took Morris over Shoop, Morris is a college coach.

I think Biassica has coached in college before, but not sure.

Gruden started coaching in college, but never head coach.
