I certainly do not disagree. That is why he needs to get to the UFC now. I think he deserves a shot against a guy like McCall and if he wins he gets a title shot.

I think McCall just handles Vila without much of a problem. Really. Vila is too slow and his wrestling defense is not good enough to not be on his back if Ian so chooses.

Vila is an Olympic silver medalist in wrestling. How is his wrestling not good enough? The arguments about him being old or understandable but his wrestling skills are still top notch. Besides, when fighting at 135 and 145 he had to worry about the KO, at 125 I dont think anyone has the power to do it and thus would allow him to focus more on his wrestling.

Vila won't have a speed advantage or a strength advantage. I also believe that McCall does a better job switching better throwing strikes and hitting the takedown.
