I want to say Maia but I think Fitch has too good if wrestling and sub defense, he may grind out another decision win. I'm hoping Maia's striking has progressed enough to keep it standing and steal a round or two before Fitch can Fitch him...

Straight grappling match (which this very well may be) I would favor Maia but as we have seen numerous times, the better BJJ guy can get beat no gi and when punches are involved.

I said this fight should happen right after the last event.

I honestly think that Maia could be the first guy to sub Fitch in the UFC, he looked like an entirely different animal at 170 with how he ran through Story in that last fight.

Fitch has amazing sub defense, but I think Maia can get the job done, if not and it stays on the feet I'm not sure that Fitch has better standup than Maia either so it could be a good fight on the feet as well.

I think Fitch wins this pretty decisively. I think he will have a considerable strength advantage and will be able to dictate where the fight takes place. I'll be rooting for Fitch, but would like to see Maia get top position on the ground to see if he could sub Fitch.

the thing with fitch is, he doesn't do explosive td's, he will grind you out for the takedown. enough time for maia to get in transition. & maia is going all out for the takedown in the opening bell when he went to 170. i'd like to see fitch try GnP inside maia's guard. maia has decent enough stand-up to force fitch to go for a td. look for some heavy butterfly/half guard action.

I'm leaning Maia right now. I think he can take Fitch down and if Maia locks in a RNC on Fitch it's a wrap.

Sick fight. Maia looked like a beast with his last WW fight in how fast he subbed Story...Fitch also brought it against Silva last time out as well. I'm excited!
