The spurs are officially my pick to win this year. At the beginning of he season I had mentioned that they didn't do enough in the offseason to get you pass OKC but seeing their last couple of games really impressed me. Green and Leonard are much improved from last year and the addition of Diaw gives them another big that can pass and shoot the three ball when Manu or Tony sucks the defense in. Their last game against the bulls was ****ing impressive. No Parker, no Ginobli, no Duncan, and no old man Stevens and still managed to beat the bulls by double figure. The young players are playing good enough to keep the big there's minutes down and I think that's gonna be the big difference this year. Spurs with fresh legs are a scary team come playoff time.
I have the East finals as Heat vs Pacers and West as Thunder vs Spurs if the seeding works out correctly. I picked the Spurs to win the West last year but their legs got tired by the end and OKC's athleticism and speed was too much for them as the series progressed. I'm thinking the same thing might happen again although The Spurs are very very good
