This Lakers team is a mess. Harden goes 3-19 and they still win. Unreal.

Two things were the real story in this game:

1. Dwight Howard better learn how to shoot freethrows (8-16)

2. Rockets bench outscored the Lakers bench 59-20

Add those up and you understand why the Lakers lost. There is kind of a 3rd thing to go with those two....Gasol was out with tendinitis to both knees. Lakers better figure out something to do with that bench because they get awful thin at each position once the starters go out...

Once again this early in the season the go to number to look at when gauging how the standings will end up is the Doug Moe standings (+1 for road win, -1 for home loss).

In the East you have the Knicks at +5, Heat +4, Pacers +3, the Nets +2, Hawks +1 and nobody else above 0.

In the West you have Spurs +7, Thunder +4, Grizzles +3, Nuggets +3, Jazz +2, Warriors +1, Clippers +1, T Wolves +1. The Lakers? -4.

The Celtics will be between 45 and 52 wins. Denver will be between 52 and 60 wins.

What nobody wants to realize is there was only 2 players in the league that averaged at least 12 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds a game last year, they were LeBron James and Andre Iguodala.

Iguodala is probably the most underrated player in the NBA, he's LeBron James lite, can run the point from the wing, great defender, elite finisher at the rim.

Predictions of course don't mean anything, but these people do get paid to analyze the NBA.

Predictions don't mean anything, but yours sure does suck. I told you that your team wasn't reaching 60 and would be an outside shot at 50. Teams that rely on fast break offense and little to no defense with a crap coach don't make the big time Fishy...sorry....

Funny how your big pick up (iggy) is playing pretty much average on a team with a bunch of average guys. You know what that means right? An average record...I don't care what your schedule is...Nibblets are bottom playoff bracket at best...

You know they do end up playing 41 games at home right? They'll win at the very least 30 of those, but most likely they will be 33+.
