Michigan rolled over mighty Northern Michigan 83-47 tonight without Trey Burke (suspension) or Jon Horford (injury).

The big surprise of the night was Burke's new back up Spike Albrecht going off for 16 points and 6 assists. Granted it was against a bad DIII school but I'll still take it from a true freshman nobody had ever heard of until April. Spike is only going to be expected to play 5-10 minutes a game but its nice to know he can knock down a shot or two if needed.

Nik Stauskas led all scorers with 17 points on 5-of-8 (4-6 3pt) shooting.

Colorado is going to be better than a lot of people think. Their frontline is going to dominate the Pac-12.

Iowa basketball is gonna put some people on watch. Beating Indiana and Wisky at the end of last season helped build a lot of momentum. They have two really good freshman in Mike Gessel and Adam Woodbury. With the big ten being very tough this year...8 wins can sneak ya in. I think it's a year too soon but they can make a push this year

I'd say Colorado is for real. The Dayton win was nice and the Baylor win was huge.

I agree! I cant exactly watch a lot of their games because I'm not paying for the Pac12 network, but I know their freshman are fantastic. The Pac12 has improved a lot from last year, but I wouldn't be surprised if Colorado reached the top 10 at some point this season.

Andre Roberson is LEGIT, I really hope he doesn't decide to go pro after this year even though he will be a lottery pick because with Smith Colorado has an outstanding frontcourt that could give them a chance to make a fairly deep run in March.
