Why would anyone want to believe in ghosts?

I hope the ones who I care about and are long gone aren't forced to float around only being able to view the world but not interact with it. And their only means of communication is dealing with some scumbag medium douche.

How could you believe that the life within the seed
    That grew arms that reached
    And a heart that beat.
    And lips that smiled
    And eyes that cried.
    Could ever die?

My impression of every "ghost hunter" tv series,

"OMG, DID YOU HEAR THAT? DID YOU HEAR THAT??!??!!???"

    or,

"OMG, I felt like something just touched me!......................OMG DID YOU HEAR THAT??!!???"

The best was when the Ghost Hunters claimed they don't edit anything, and got busted for editing things.

My favorite GH moment was a live Halloween episode, where something grabbed the less douchebaggy one's hood. You could see the hood move. You could also see him jerk his hand forward to move the fishing line he tied to it.

Watching with "believers" is immense fun. I'm not an ******* that tries to dissuade them either, that isn't nearly as much fun as watching people fall for this **** because they want to believe "so much."

They are especially prone to the power of suggestion. "Hey look at this picture."

    "Yeah, what's the big deal?"

"See that ghost? It's right there, in the background, can't you see that face?"

"Oh yeah, I see it. That's one of the best ghost pictures I've ever seen!"

Of course, this really works with the whole EVP thing. They always TELL you what you're supposed to hear, before you hear. So then of course you hear what they want you to.

Which means you would have plenty of time to sit someone down and take a picture of them, without anyone around and then claim it's a ****ing ghost in the picture and not your mom

    Probably not.

    Or definitely not.

Notice how the "ghost" has shadows? You can see them on the bench or whatever that she is sitting on. And lo and behold, the picture was taken in daylight, so a shadow would certainly be present.
