It's that competitive drive that's allowed the Kings to beat every teams ass in the playoffs so far.

The Brown play is split second decision making. Easier said that done.

The thing about Doan though, is that the refs didn't **** up. Maybe we'd see Doan whine more if his team made it this far more often, only to get bounced with the quickness. Just because you're a heady veteran that plays the game the right way, doesn't mean your free from bitter emotions. Most Everybody gave Brown the benefit of the doubt after the game, but we're supposed to side with Doan who was out on the ice at the time of the play and probably didn't even see it clearly?

It doesn't matter because the Kings were better, they're going to win the cup, and Doan and Coyotes can **** Off.
I've got no particular allegiance to either team, but since LA bounced the Canucks, I've been hoping they would win it all, if for no other reason than to say the Canucks got beat by the best team. But if you honestly saw that overtime, and didn't think Phoenix got ****ed just a little, then I really don't know what to say.

I still think and hope that the Kings will keep rolling, but Doughty really embarassed himself, and should learn to act like a grown ass man...

The Coyotes got the majority of the calls in OT by your very own standards. The Doughty penalty, Doughty offsides coming out of the box, but didn't get the Brown penalty (which most analysts said was a legal hit anyways). Seems like Phoenix got most things to go their way. Kings were outshooting them like 8-1 or something close in the OT before Penner netted the winner. Why not just say the team that was playing better (in that OT) won?

Agree to disagree on the Doughty blowup. I like a little anger and emotion amongst athletes, as long as they don't do it every time something goes against them. It shows that they really give a ****, which is awesome.

    my god these kings.

they've already tied the record for most playoff road wins (10). the fact that they've done so consecutively is itself a record. they've won the first 3 games in every series so far, the only time this has ever happened in the 25 years of the current playoff format. should they complete the sweep they will tie the 1988 edmonton oilers (a fairly decent team i hear) for the best playoff record at 16-2. quick's current save % and gaa - 0.950 and 1.36 - almost certainly have to be records as well unless the devils manage like 20 goals in 5 shots next game. and whenever the kings do finish this series they will be the first 8th seed to win the cup.

oh, and quick has let in 6 fewer goals these entire playoffs than the penguins did in the mere 6 games they played. alack and woe.

And the 27 viewers of this year's SCF are duly impressed.

Just a ****ing crazy run. Also knocking out the #1, 2, and 3 seeds in the west. The only thing that would have made it more epic is if NYR made it out of the east and they swept.

"Steve Bernier is playing for the Cup? Why did the Canucks ever give up on this guy? WTF?"

    "Oh, never mind."
Probably nothing has done so much harm to the liberal cause as the wooden insistence of some liberals on certain rules of thumb, above all the principle of laissez faire.

For me that's a wtf were you thinking on both their parts. Why is Scuderi turning his back in that situation when he knows he is going to get it. And why does Bernier follow through so hard. I mean, when Bernier commits to the hit it is going to be on the side and then Scuderi turns at the last possible moment. I'm thinking he was wanting to take a brutal hit in order to draw a penalty.

Anyway, congrats to the kings on an amazing run.

To sum up my thoughts on this season:

    **** DUNCAN KEITH.

    Thank you.

Now we can finally get back to some relevant stuff for all our teams that were kicked out.

Certainly a WTF moment on both their parts. If you watch a guy go in for the puck like Scuderi did 9/10 times he turns himself a bit and takes it in the shoulder and it is pretty much a non factor. It sucked that the whole game turned on this play but kudos to the Kings for an amazing run.

So apparently eliminating the Canucks means you're going to win the Stanley Cup

.....At least, that's been the case the last three years
