NOMINATE Your Top 5 for 2011 Breakout Fighter of the Year

We would like you guys on the forums to list you top 5 fighters for 2011 Breakout Fighter of the Year in this thread.

We'll then go through the thread and put together a list of five for a poll on the MMAWeekly.com home page and open it up to everyone that visits the site to vote on. The fighter with the most votes is the 2011 Breakout Fighter of the Year.

This is open to any fighter from any promotion, but we'd pretty much like to try and keep it to a fighter that wasn't already considered one of the top 3 or 4 fighters in his or her division when the year started.

We'll only be leaving this thread open for about 24 to 48 hours, so get your Top 5 list in quickly!

I agree and thought about adding him, but Diaz was a consensus top 5 guy 1/1/2011, with people already calling for him to get a shot at GSP.

Yeah, but beating Penn solidified that ranking, IMO.

Before that it was suspect, cause of the B-league competition.

Unless you think KJ and Evangelista should be ranked.

No, but Daley was top 10 and coming off a number 1 contender fight in the UFC when Diaz KO'd him.

Actually I caught myself slippin....the Daley fight happened in April of 2011. So you are probably right that he should be on the list.
