you HONESTLY 100% biased aside think Metta World Peace would start over Gallo???

Gallo is a good man to man defender, not quite as good as Artest because he isn't as strong, but that will come with time.
This series is far from over, the Lakers allowed Denver to gain confidence tonight, which they need as such a young team. Karl focuses too much on strategy, which killed Denver in game 1. The Nuggets aren't veteran team that can handle the coaches trying to structure everything, especially since the style they've played all year is uncontrolled, they were thinking too much in game 1 instead of playing basketball. Tonight they played basketball and would have won if they made open shots. Denver played better defense than LA tonight, Kobe just made tough shots while Denver missed open shots, that's the entire story of the game.
The thing Laker fans fail to realize is Kobe damn near cost LA that win, because he went to isos in the 2nd half. He was unconscious in the first half and almost shot LA to a loss in the 2nd.
The key part of the game was when gasol was in with the bench and Denver sat all their offensive options and had Harrington as the #1 option, the lead increased for LA because Harrington doesn't take good shots. Denver should have played at least 1 of Gallo and Lawson in that situation. Gallo wasn't good tonight, but he attacked the defense which led to offensive rebounds, bad shots are insanely difficult to rebound on offense because they are taken outside of the offense thus nobody is ready to rebound.

Gallo had only 13 ****ing pts vs devin ebanks, if you have 3 guys who can score you need some defense out there which mwp provides and gallo doesn't. Gallo shot badly, I already said that. Sometimes that happens. He also couldn't get a foul call to save his life, thus he went away from driving. He's a young guy that is in his 2nd playoffs ever and first as a real go to guy. Also Gallo has owned ebanks, the problem comes when the Laker bigs help at the rim. Wouldn't expect you to actually understand that though.
