Biggest game of the year tonight for both Houston and Denver. The Rockets can't be happy that they got smoked in the 2nd half last night, scoring only 38 points while Denver scored 37 in the 3rd quarter alone. Will be interesting to see what Nuggets team shows up and if Houston can make enough 3 pointers to win.

Hey fishy I didn't see your post on when faried got owned. 7 PT 7 reb. What was your excuse that night, your response should just be that the nuggs aren't on the same level as the lakers and that you only show up when the nuggs beat weaker teams.

Didn't see much of the game, was playing pool and the bar had the Rockies game on. Faried didn't exactly get "owned" he only played 19 minutes, which is stupid no matter how the game is going or how he is playing. He usually struggles early in games then gets it going. 1 play can ignite a 5-10 minutes stretch where the Nuggets go on a big run. Karl didn't give him a chance to make that play.

Also the reason the Nuggets lost had nothing to do with Faried, Gallo and Ty were terrible.

Bynum is the Lakers best match up in 95% of games, without Kobe they can take advantage of that, it's up to Kobe to play smart and feed Bynum when he gets back, or else the Lakers will not win anything this year or next.

Lakers have a better chance to win it all then the nuggs do getting out of te 1st rd, but you should be used to that

The Lakers also have a better chance of losing one of their 3 best players in the next 2 years.

It's funny that you talk all this ****, the Nuggets have changed directions dramatically in the last year, from an old team to one of the youngest teams in the NBA. All the while they have maintained being a Playoff team. The year after the Lakers traded Shaq they missed the playoffs and it took them a while (bogus trade) before they became title contenders.

The Nuggets best players are 24, 23, and 22.

Also gotta love the fact that LA had to play Bynum and Gasol 38 minutes a piece to beat a Denver team that for the most part played like garbage, TITLE CONTENDERS! lol

I hate to say it but McHale is doing pretty good with what we have talent wise..and I say that because I thought the McHale hiring was just a gimmick to put asses in seats.
houston has quietly started putting things together really well, and lowry is a beast

Houston is a strange team to me, Lowry is a damn good player, but outside of him they don't have a lot of talent. One thing they do well is shoot 3s and they play hard.

Don't think they are one of the 8 best teams in the West though. To me they have won a lot of games this year where they just played harder than their opponents, mostly against good teams that kinda played down to the Rockets talent level.

There is a post where I am in complete agreement with you. The talent level on the Rockets is not that great and outside of a couple guys who play real hard most of them seem to be there for the paycheck and that is it. I give kudos to McHale for the job he has done but quite frankly this team is not playing for any titles any time soon. They need to start getting rid of some of these guys (even if they take a cap hit) and get with the Steelers mentality of running a franchise. Draft your core, get value free agents. Quit chasing the high scoring no defense players like TMac and KMart and start getting guys who will dig in and fight for every inch out there.

All that being said...I still would like to see them get in the playoffs as an 8 seed. For some reason the Rockets match up well with the Thunder and could give them big problems.

your GM seems to want to run the first team to rebuild without tanking. kudos to him for that.
and good defense at wing and a constant attack from their pgs definitely means the Thunder will have to work for 4 wins

the suns are my team, but i don't think we can do anything with that 8 seed other then make nash happy
