    Default Ashamed, but back.

I have put off coming back to the thread for a few days now. I missed FC9 and I am bummed by it, but I had a real wake up call recently that gave me that final kick in the ass. I threw away years of hard work in the past 6 months. No sense in crying over spilled milk, I have alot of work to do to get back to where I was, and even more to get to my goals. I felt that fire again and I am fanning the flame to get my life back.

I figure I will be doing more cardio in the beginning to drop all this fat I picked up recently. I figure my timing will be perfect to kill it in the next FC, so I am coming back with a vengence. For those who doubt me.... just watch!

If I let any of you guys down along the way with my disappearing act, I'll make it up with results.

Oh that wake up call???? My younger brother (10 yrs younger and the same wieght as me) just had the lap band surgery. My other brother is going in for a gastric bypass soon. I won't allow that to happen to me.

    First goal- 250lbs again.

I guess with nothing else to really post right now as I missed FC9, I will post some updates here to keep myself involved here.

Body is sore as hell, trying to not over do it in the beginning, I knew I would hurt, I deserve it. Starting off with more cardio, my lifts consist of high rep/low weight fat burn type followed up with 45 minutes on the eliptical right now. I figure I will change things up every 2 weeks or so.

Diet is getting there, doing some research on the paleo diet to see if thats the route I should go with. Things I have to consider is also feeding my family, they don't necessarily eat the same things I do, therefore...$$$.
Can't stand to look at the mirror anymore, **** has got to change!

felt good in the gym tonight, still feel like I am lost in there, really need to get my **** straight, I don't have a plan, other than to get myself back to where I was and then some.... Think I will join some of the classes up there to mix things up.
Wife brought me a bunch of ground chicken, turkey and chicken breasts along with lots of veggies and some whole wheat pasta.

You got this rocket. Whats your starting weight? Why dont you print out like those 8 week workout plans from mens fitness? Good way to get back into a routine.

Thanks King, I didn't want to do it out of shame, but I got on the scale and my starting weight is 292. Thats a good idea to get started again. I need to re-open my bodybuilding.com account. I may feel lost in the gym, but it feels good to be back in there, feels good to want it again.....

Making it a priority to get to the gym or at least get some type of workout in lately. Schedule has been full lately, but now I am making time for fitness where in the recent past, I let that slip.
Managed to stay away from the fried foods, chicken wings and beer for the weekend. My wife cleaned out the "chip and cookie" shelf, filled half a damn trash bag!

Been a few days since I posted, but still at it. Suffering from the sore leg syndrome... feels good again. Found me a nice app that I update with every meal, helps me see what I have been eating and my calorie count. It's not perfect, but keeps me in check and going the right way.
