Exactly... Age or not, that dude is great and can pull off anything. Plus, cameras and magic make a huge difference. The Emperor kicked some ass 30 years after he played the old ass Emperor in Return of the Jedi. Dude was supposed to be ungodly fast and deadly with a lightsaber. That dude was 497 years old (the actor, not the character) and even with all the problems, they made him being terrifying in combat very believable.

I'm sure Gaius Julius Ciaran will look just find cutting a dude up.
