Jon Lester with a complete game, 1 hitter (no BB) against the Miami Blue Jays.

He's been wheeling and dealing, baby!

Yeah! Lester is still good to go and that's a relief. I knew his stuff was still great last year and the Sox need him badly. Buchholtz can't keep this up.......

Looks like the Jays might have finally found their groove. Laying another beating on SF tonight after only 2 innings.

What happens when a world series champion enters the best division in baseball and plays against the worst team in the division? A 2 game 21-9 spanking against the Jays. Betcha they cant wait to go back to there little league division, they won't survive in this shark tank that is the AL east.

That's hilarious man, that Joe Carter walk off is the exact same thing I thought of as I typed that post.

I'm less worried with Bucholz then I am with the rest of rotation, but his production is due to drop off. Dubront is sucking this year. And Lackey isn't pitching awful, but it is Lackey afterall. Kind of just wish the Red Sox could dump him. Dempster has a whip over 1.4 in the last two full seasons he's pitched, so not sure I expect him to be consistently solid. I just hope they can get decent pitching from 2/3 of the 3-5 guys for the rest of the season. The bullpen is much less elite with Hanrahan falling for the season. They'll need to be resilient in a lot of games this year to get in the playoffs.
