Thread: Strongman Type ****

    Default Strongman Type ****

Found a dude on craigslist that makes atlas stones. I want to get a bunch of my buddies to chip in and hold a competition.

Anyone got ideas with **** around the garage?

Im already looking for an 80# punching bag. Trying to pick it up this week. I have sand bags for maybe a wheel barrow push.

I want to hold a contest during the summer in a parking lot where we can pull my jeep

On second thought, Hybrid is only a 20 min car ride. http://www.hybridathletics.net/stone_molds.php

Hm... I need to stop by there and try them out. They also hold events.

If you go to Hybird give us some pics and some product reviews.

Yeah, im trying to do the math. Is it worth it to buy stones at .50 cents a pound or just get the molds and make them myself.

If you plan to hold events or make/sell several I'd buy the mold. It will also be a fun project and you can post pics and give us insight. Money-wise, probably easier to just buy one.

Mostly the events i want to hold are just biggest dick competitions. i doubt i can get people to consistently show up when they could spend their time at the beach with their bronzer.

Checked out the stones today, too.

155# is a good starting weight. I could easily make a conditioning circuit if I nab a tractor tire.
