Homefront...............
Did anyone pick this up? I started playing the campaign last night and have to say the story line is very interesting. Graphics aren't as good as COD but gameplay is good. I didn't try the online multi out yet though.
I havent played it yet but Ive been checkin out some vids on youtube and it looks real good. Blackops is boring the hell out of me and its time for a new shooter, Im between Homefront and Crysis2 (more towards homefront). Crysis2 has better graphics but homefront looks like more fun. I guess it will come down to who got the better servers.

It looks pretty underwhelming. And the fact that Crysis 2 is now less than a week away, makes it a no brainer that I'll be skipping HomefrontOriginally Posted by cptcaveman

Maybe I'll gamefly Homefront in the future if I get bored, but I don't see much chance of that happening with the already mentioned Crysis 2, Socom 4 and LA Noire all coming out this spring
FWIW, walmart.com has Homefront for PS3 and XBOX for 41.96 already. lol two days after release. I just ordered it anyway though. Need something to fill the gap till SOCOM drops and Im sooooo sick of black ops and Killzone has gotten a little old.
Whats with all the Crysis love? After playing the MP demo last night, I was less than impressed, even in 3d it wasn't that visually impressive. And your guy feels more like he's on rails rather than actually walking. Maybe the single player is where it's at? I'll give it another go today, maybe it was just too late last night.
Heard the single player can be beat in 5 hours.
Rental for me.

The multiplayer looks like it's going to be much better in the Full version than that demo. But I don't even care if the MP is all that or not. I'm getting it for the Single Player. It's going t be at least 10-12 hours long and more impoortantly it looks like a blast!!!

Right now if that is what you are looking at Homefront is the one with dedicated servers.
I want to get Homefront but have to wait for now.. damn basement needed to get renovated :/
Damn, why do I never listen to the reviews...Not terrible so far, but nothing to get excited about.
OK so upon further review I played the Crysis 2 online demo and its not really for me so I just went and got Homefront (hopefully I wont regret it).
On another note Ive been a Socom fan since the beginning and it seemed like after Socom 2 it went to **** and when I heard zipper got it back I was stoked...but listening to some of the reviews Im not so sure (no demolition? no pistols dual primarys?) Im not gonna base my opinion on someone elses, just gonna rent 1st....

My thoughts exactly. Just finished the sniper mission and a co worker told me I am almost done w/ the game. I only played for a like 2 hours maybe total.
