Default The First Inductee into the Hall of Fame for 2011 is HBK

A little early for my taste, they should have waited maybe a couple of years since he just retired but what can you say, he's one of the best to ever do it...well deserved

Thought it is too soon as well, and didnt expect it. Thinking they really have no more big 80's/90's big time WWF/E guys to induct, which is why hes going right in. Theres Warrior and Macho, but theyre not on the best of terms with the company. Was never an HBK fan, but cant deny that he was great. Im going to mania and the hall so im cool with it.

Hopin they add guys like Arn or Michael Hayes. Supposedly they have two other big names locked up for the hall. Goldberg maybe?

For some reason I dont fully comprehend, I absolutely hate Michael Hickenbottom, always have & always will. I know he's very good at his job, but I've just never been able to get behind him in any storyline, or like him as a face or a heel.

I think it might be the hair..

I never liked his personality, but he had a ton of charisma and was one of the best workers of all time. He was in the last 7 Match of the Years according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Those awards are voted on by the fans, which is probably even more important then Meltzer's choices, because the bottom line with pro wrestling is entertaining the fans.

he has had so many all time classic matches, here are just a few. The ladder match with Razor Ramon, a bunch with Bret Hart with the iron man when he won the belt probably the most memorable, HHH matches, Undertaker, Jericho, even Marty Jannetty.

him getting in right away was like flair getting in right the year after he retired. he is much younger, but still a legend.

Does anyone know the story behind Randy Savage not getting in yet, and his issues with Vince. He was one of the top 3 guys from the early Wrestlemania years along with Hogan and Piper and was a star before and afterwards.

I figure the Rock will get in soon, it will all be about his schedule. I doubt he would be the same year as Michaels though.

The only rumor that ever pops up bout Savage/Vince issues is the Savage/Stephanie thing.

rumor is that savage nailed her way back in the day. nobody knows the truth though. some believe that. some think its simply that savage left for wcw after giving vince his word, and the slim jim deal went with him.

meltzer says a lot of the higher ups in wwe belive the rumor because they see no reason why vince wont do business with savage. vince has done plenty of business with former enemies. he'd make a good amount of $ if they made a proper macho man dvd. they finally made a macho man figure recently, which is the one guy vince would never let jakks make.
