I'm game. Are you a 300+ guy? It would make it more fair if you were.

    Also, are we wagering anything?

One may think that tribute is paid in secret, in the dark recesses of his or her heart, but it is not. That which dominates imagination and thoughts will determine life and character. Therefore, it behooves us to be careful what we are worshiping, for what we are worshiping we are becoming."

After a week or so of bad eating, the scale says I am at 295 (so apparently gained 1 pound back since the FC....). My goal weight in the long run is 230-240. So i'm gonna look at taking as much off as I can this year.

If you're looking for someone a little closer to your weight, it's cool and yeah we can wager a little something, what do you have in mind?

I'm currently 330 as of Monday, so I think we are close enough.

How about having like a mini-contest every 2/3 months for small prizes ($25-ish), and then one big prize ($100-ish) at the end. I think the more actual "deadlines" I have, the more I am willing to push myself. How does that sound? I am more than willing to try this, and I will be a man and pay up if I lose or quit.

This is exactly what I am looking for. Since Sept I've let myself go diet/cardio wise. My lifts are all up but I look/feel like ****. Should be about 255# after the Holidays.

    Goals:

    Full Firebreather mode.
    400+ BP
    500+ squat/deadlift
    mean cardio

ready to wreck **** after the Holidays.

I am about 370 right now. I wanna do this, going to see the doctor in January and get blood work and probably go to sleep center about Sleep apnea, solving some of these problems and starting BJJ in February will hopefully lead me to where I am tryiing to go.

While I hesistate to say I am in (cause I seemingly never follow through), I hope to join this, submit pictures and make 2010 the year.

After once again allowing small setbacks completely derail me I decided not to do anymore of these competitions. I was going to just focus on getting healthy independently. Problem is in doing so no matter how successful I become I'd still have never concurred a fitness comp. So for that reason I am in on this year long event.

As someone needs to be the first to side track the thread (which we encourage as we are a pretty close community here).

    Here is oldschool curling awsomeness.

Handknit Curling Sweaters for the win (with Maple Leafs to boot)

This also leads to an official FC 2010 Commish comment. Starting pics could take any form you want if its for your own motivation tracking. Progression from the start of the year to the end is pretty obvious when comparing everyday shots so you are encouraged to post any picture (its amazing how you can see weight loss when you see a picture of someones face). Don't think pics have to take the form of the Mini FC shots.

    Curl/Grind On !

I've been on hiatus for a long long time, but as the first 300+ lber to ever finish a challenge I'm happy to say that once again, I'M IN!
