Yeah, it is in the hudson valley.
I think he's been in Jim Miller's corner for the last 4 or 5 of his fights give or take.
But also consider how much better it would be if when you enroll your kid in BJJ he is immediately learning wrestling and Judo takedowns as part of his BJJ training as well and...
Ok, that's kind of true lol.
Well why make that comment in the first place?
Seems kind of dickish to me.
Just cause he didn't fight in the UFC doesn't make his training tactics less effective.
There's no need for that.
He was on TUF 8, made into the house but got his nose broken and had to go home.
Of course he regularly corners the Miller brothers and just look how well...
In comparison to striking or BJJ as it is NORMALLY practiced IMO wrestling is the best base.
In comparison to how BJJ is practiced AT MY SCHOOL where we start every roll standing and drill...
Why would you say this when he looked so incredibly sharp in that fight?
He has looked great lately and not as if his body is wearing down really which is surprising after all the fights he's had....
For some reason Belfort has never shown good BJJ in MMA and I don't get it either.
He's shown he knows BJJ in tournaments but somehow when he fights it's like it's not even there.
At least we...
Why do you hate Weidman so much Tony?
He doesn't seem to be a dick really and he's fairly entertaining.
I don't really see what's to hate about him.
I knew Cormier would beat Rumble.
This forum has a lot of people who get over excited over fighters but have a short term memory regarding their weaknesses.
I didn't even really realize till I looked at the HW rankings how good of a position AA is now in.
He's finished both Browne and Big Foot in the past 2 and before that he beat Schaub.
This was a good card cause most guys didn't really try to ride fights out to decisions.
Everyone really went for the finish in the last few.
Seeing AA beat Browne like that was amazing.
Just cause you find him more exciting?
I'll admit Jones is more exciting, but he's also an ******* whereas DC is pretty cool.
I'm still going to hope that DC can find a way to beat...
Hate to say I told you so but...
I've always said that no matter how much Rumble improves he eventually gasses out or gets beaten on the ground.
I knew DC would win.
It's a strong man's move so it's hard to get people like AJ with it.
If it was an arm triangle or a RNC it might be different.
Fight is looking like I predicted.
Rumble is a beast on the feet but he's not as good a wrestler as Cormier.
And why do people think ground and pound is so boring??
It's not like DC fights...
He's looking pretty exciting to me.
Throwing kicks, using slams, throwing hands, going for a kimura.
What do you mean that nothing is happening?
So, I said it before but I'll say it again:
Most people on here saying that Rumble will run through DC in one round are underestimating DC.
Either DC will win or Rumble will have a lot of...
I wonder if Tony has respect for Weidman now?
Arlvoski may actually be a contender in the UFC again!!
Actually I was just thinking the other day that I want to buy one or two of those Asp batons so I looked them up.
Kind of expensive at around $135 each but I guess they are good quality.
I don't know, I saw it on my Facebook feed.
Might not be true but I don't know if those sites just straight up make this **** up.
If it IS true I'm wondering why Cerrone didn't have enough head...
I can't believe the degree of restraint and control he showed.
Guy punches Cowboy in the face and he actually decides to let him go because he knows how much he stands to...
