Rechargeable AA Batteries For a digital Camera

So i have a camera that i need some AA batteries for but have heard that rechargeable AA don't last for **** any one have any recommendations on AA that will last?

And why the hell don't they make a rechargeable AA lithium Ion?

The original eneloops are pretty awesome, too. You can also get them under different brand names, but I'm not sure which ones in the US.

They do make rechargeable lithium ion batteries, and they're really really good.

I just threw away a pair of Duracell rechargeable AAs last week that I used and abused for 4 years...

I only use rechargeables, even though I have an almost limitless supply of disposable batteries through work.

I only have to deal with AA batteries when I use my flash. Usually, rechargeables work great with my Speedlite.

cool thanks for the advice after reading math is hards post i did some looking around and it looks like the eneloop are definitely what i wanna go with. I cant seem to find any more info on the eneloop pro though, any idea when those will be released in the US? Or if they are already available then where to get them?

I also found good reviews for the Rayovac Hybrids as well. I think i am just gonna order the regular eneloop and then keep my eyes peeled for the pros.

and you mean AA Lithium Ions? and where would you find those cause i havent been able to find any thing on rechargeable AAs
