Possible for him to have done this or is it deeper? After 42 years of approval now it's have been denied?
Thoughts.

All fly-overs are a waste of resources as it is.

Not suprised at all. They need to save the jet fuel for the next time the Obamas want to catch a play in NYC, or Pelosi wants to fly her 57 grandkids to europe....

There are government regulated drugs that would give you that same feeling. Just as American as a flyover.

wonder how much stolen money is spent for those damn things?
I can see the uproar over the hypocrisy and apparent favoritism / selectionism (yes, I made that up I think) but...
plenty of more important things to worry about and nationalism is not patriotism, and fighter jets do not represent the true heart of america

Was in my moms belly when her and my dad took the flight over from Belfast N.I. but I am an American by birth and dam proud of it. Parents became US citizens when I was 7 and still remember going with them when they took the test. They did it the right way.

Saw David Axlerod (Obama's Karl Rove) saying that it's "funny" that republicans want to cut spending when they favor spending millions on tax cuts for the wealthy.
Think about the subconscious worldview that would lead someone to Freudian slip the word spending when referring to taking less money from people.
If a Republican doesn't like
guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all
...guns outlawed.
If a Republican is a vegetarian,
he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a
vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for
everyone.

^^^ come on, Rob. Absolute bull****. "Republicans" have written plenty of their own laws.
How about if a Republican doesn't want men ****ing men...
if a Republican doesn't want to tolerate political dissent
the list goes on and on
stop playing teams. they're all the enemies of Liberty

You both (Rob & DSub) have good points, but are looking at this from different angles.
Rob-replace "Republican & Democrat" with "Liberty minded individualist & Statist", and I think that you hit it.

yeah...I could go for that. The notion that Republicans in modern US history are the former is amusing to me.

Republicans suck almost as bad as Democrats.
How about Individualists and Collectivists (or statist)?
Republicans gave us Campaign Finance Reform, No Child Left Behind, The ADA Act, the drug war, and much of our current global imperialist presence. Not exactly earning high marks from the mind-your-own-business crowd.

The two major parties are nothing more than power grab machines for the members of their "clubs" at this point. Their SOLE goal is to get elected/re-elected, and will compromise ANY position/value to do so. They are both whores of the highest order (IMO).

Hang on a second, though, Rob...we're just discussing what you posted.
It seems you're falling for the "Obama-BAD, Bush-good" nonsense. I don't remember where you stood a few years ago.
WE wouldn't all be ****ed if we could get back to the core of our nation, and keep it to/for ourselves and those willing to earn it and respect it!

I'm not bouncing just don't follow it as much as you guys do in order to provide valid information.
I agree with you last sentence. Seems like our country is falling quicker and quicker and eventually the boarders of the US will start shrinking back down to the original 13 stats if we don’t get back to why it was all started in the first place.

I hardly follow politics anymore, Rob. I saw enough. I understand enough. It's a web of lies, and most people buy into it. The team thing. "I'm a democrat so I hate republicans" kind of ****. I had a guy outside a pool hall the other night say "oh, so you're a republican then" as if there were only two sides to this story. When I tried to talk to him about freedom and liberty I could see his eyes gloss over. All he wanted to do was sing Brobama's praises, and all he saw in my criticism was "the other team."
Most people are ****ing stupid. Utterly incapable of considering anything bigger then "us vs them."
You're way smarter than that, dude. Even if you are from HB ;)

1)Passes biggest entitlement program during worste recession in 80 years using reconciliation
2)Has the single biggest budget defecit in the history of our country with absolutely no positive job or economic growth
3)Passed the single biggest government payout program with unemployment 2.5% higher than estimated
4)Is suing one of his own states for enforcing a federal law that he chooses to ignore
5)Publicly calls out the Supreme Court and all opposing Republicans simply because he does not agree with them
6)Has 2/3 of the country telling him to do one thing, and is still arrogant enough to do the opposite because he knows whats best for us
7)Is turning 1 of the most popular law enforcement figures in to the UN with absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoing.

I get that alot, althought I do proudly confess that i am ALOT closer to being a repub than a democrat, and very much do believe that democrat party is alot more corrupt than the repubs.Mostly because the democrat party is so much more powerful than the repubs
A 3rd party is the only way to go, but IMO it would only deliver the country into the hands of the democrats. Anything not in line with democrat power is labeled as a fringe conservative hate group by the press, and while alot of repubs would jump ship for a 3rd party, the dems absolutely OWN several voting blocks that will never leave. Blacks, unions, government workers, and the rest of the useless parasites in this country will never jump ship

Unfortunately, it was neither a freudian slip nor subconscious. They think of every dollar they dont seize as money given to you out of generosity. I watched Obama live in Ohio today, and he was talking about 'spending money on the rich' in the form of tax cuts, but talking about it as if it was giving them welfare
The problem is that the lazy stupid, demoralized, spiteful scrubs that voted for Obama agree. The scrubs in this country are convinced that they're poor because they got screwed, and nobody deserves to have more money than they do.
We're so screwed.

Bottom line: Obama and ilk reject capitalism and the basic merits of individual freedom out of hand. They are rulers, micro-managers, dictators, communists.
What you eat.
What you drive.
What you read.
Where you work.
How you work.
What you're paid.
They want it ALL and they will never stop or self-correct. Never. Every mangled inch of liberty that we reclaim from the cogs will come from a long, bloody, slobber-slinging dogfight. Always has; always will.
