Instead of cluttering up the board, figured I'd just post updates as the come along here. Hopefully Tuesday I will have the complete fighter list to post.

Quick summary some people may have missed

14 hidden characters - only Royce Gracie and Nate Quarry confirmed. I am going to take a shot and say Clay Guida is a hidden character because I could have swore I saw rendered photos of him during the early press releases.

there are CAF videos that show the customization.

CAF fighters can go online right away, but only have about 75%-ish of their skill points available due to not going through career mode..

I still can't confirm if there are 14 or 16 hidden characters though.

No Clay Guida. The clipping with the hair was a problem. They asked him to cut it and the answer was no. Sorry looks like no knapsack action in undisputed 2009. The clipping is also the reason there is no south paw fighters in the game. Even Rich fights orthodox.

Yeah I heard they were making everyone orthodox... which sucks, coulda made for even more interesting tactics. Anyways, clipping with the hair isn't a problem, pretty sure they proved this with their other games. I am still searching(to no avail) for the rendered picture of Guida I saw though.

Don't know, but makes a bit of sense. There are 14 hidden fighters... most of the legends are either out of their likeness contract, don't want to work with the UFC, or were unavailable to give their time needed. I'm guessing we'll see a couple standard fighters that were thrown in at the last minute that are "hidden"

interesting article... I think it was a casual MMA fan reviewing the game though. At the end he mentions Babalu, Royce, and Randy being available to play as... and while Royce was confirmed, Babalu was rumoured to be a hidden character, and Randy confirmed he wasn't in the game.... so no idea what to think now. I think the guy was just talking out his ass

Well Mask was a character in 3 of the last UFC games I believe, and graced the cover of 2 of them (sans makeup).

Pretty sure Dana is a fighter, I'm guessing Buffer, Rogan, and maybe Goldie too.

My birthday is 5/19, the day Undisputed comes out. I plan on taking that day off, hitting up gamestop early, and breaking faces online by noon!

Yeah I expect Dana (boxing/wrestling), Rogan (Kickboxing/Judo),Herb (Kickboxing/Wrestling) and Buffer (Kickboxing/Wrestling). If we assume them, the brothers, that'll make 11 of the 14 hidden fighters

If they are playable online characters, the first time I come across someone fighting as them I swear I will break my fucking game in half if Yamasaki subs BJ Penn... That is beyond fucking stupid, I cannot stand that shit.

If they want to make a legit game, make the fucking game legit. If you want it to be lighthearted like Ready 2 Rumble, then throw in stupid ass "fighters" and play it up to the casual fans but don't fucking mix the shit up. I know people will say "it is just a game" but how can it be taken seriously by anybody other than very very casual observers when Herb Dean will KO Silva with a headkick? It just takes away from the whole experience and realism when you do something like that.

Any chance of characters being downloadable? Maybe some of the "hidden" characters will be available as free DLC? Gamestop is offering Ryan Bader and Efrain E, I am sure this is possible because of the CAF feature...

Royce Gracie is not in the game. They flat out said no and that Dana White misspoke. I have the full build of the game and can confirm that through 5 hours of career mode, no sight of any of those fighters.

Quarry was only scanned. Many fighters were scanned that weren't used in the game.

Tapout crew is not initially playable. MMAJunkie heard the same thing I was told about the characters, so I am not sure where the info is coming from. Plus they are under embargo too, so who knows they decided to break the embargo and release that information.
