What old school games would you like to see released for the Wii Virtual Console?

I think the Wii VC is one of the sweetest ideas in a long time. All of the games I enjoyed during HS and College right there for me to enjoy all over again. I have re beaten Zelda I and II, Super Mario I all the way to World and have enjoyed every minute of it. River City Ransom and Splatterhouse are two others that I have enjoyed immensly. Oh yeah, Metroid and the Castelvanias as well.

Id like to see Wizards and Warriors and Blaster Master released on this. Fire Pro Wrestling for TG-16 as well.

What games are any of you looking forward to? I'd also like to note that I do not have a PS3 or a 360, so I may seem a bit pathetic when it comes to my choice of games compared to what I see most of you talking about playing.

Baseball Stars. That game was da bomb. I've seen Baseball Stars 2, but not the original.

I'd want Super Baseball Simulator 1.000.

This was the game for the snes where you could have special hitting and pitching powers, or you could play it as a normal baseball game. I used to play this game a ton

I'd like to see super mario RPG. While i know it's not a great game, i'd like to see the duck tales game as well. I loved those games when i was younger.

If I didn't have an old SNES laying around, I'd say "TMNT IV: Turtles in Time." I love that game.

Double Dragon II for the SNES was fun because you could do 2 player co-op. I wouldn't mind seeing that one released for the VC.

DD II was a great game. Almost forgot about it.

I'd like to see Bad Dudes and Shinobi released.

Wonder Boy in Monsterland and Rastan would be cool as well.

if they re-released Maniac Mansion on Wii virtual... then they would remove the cook your hamster in the microwave trick...


so the game really isn't the same without it, so you got sit back and pop in the first run release of it on NES

I actually thought of that right after making the post. Such a shame...you're absolutely right, though. The VC version would be far inferior.

TMNT 2 The Arcade game for nes. NBA JAM, Definitely Baseball Stars. On a side note. Its just easier and cheaper to get your Wii modded. I got an emulator with all NES SNES and Sega games on it and it works like a charm
