Just a fun thread, man up and tell us how well you predicted this year at the start? I remember having rather heated conversations about Montreal and Vancouver with some so man up and tell us how you done?
Im doing pretty good on mine but not perfect!
Things I predicted that I remember:
-Oilers would make play offs - looks like im wrong on this one baring a huge turn around in coaching attitude and team preformance in last 10 games.
- Calgary would win divison - I think this will happen
- Vancouver will do well in regular season but not win 2 rounds in play offs. - Time will tell on this one still but they are doing well in regular season after some bad bumps! Still dont think they have the mental toughness to win 2 rounds in play offs
- Montreal (same prediction as Vancouver) - Well they not doing as well as I thought they would in regular season to be honest but all signs point to a early play off exit for them so that part of prediction still valid!
- San Jose/Detroit to win cup - Im not sure about this anymore, Calgary is more a threat then I thought they would be at start of season and Detroit has terrible goaltending on some nights. If I was guessing again Id predict Calgary or San Jose rather then Detroit to win cup.
So anyways, thats what I predicted at start of season (that I can remember anyways) and how it looks right now, 10 - 13 games from end of regular season. Guess im about 60/40 which isnt terrible :)
