TSN is reporting that the Leafs have traded Carlo Coliacovo & Alex Steen to St. Louis for Forward Lee Stepniak.

Wow. I thought Steen was being groomed to be the future of the Leafs. Surprising.

Stepniak is no joke though, I dig him too.

Carlo....nobody but Carlo's folks even care. He's a walking injury.

St. Louis made out the best out of this trade...

Alexander Steen will be a great player with a bit more experience... and if Coliacovo can stay healthy, he will be a good asset as well

Steen could only live on potential for so long. He needed to start producing, and he wasnt. Decent trade I guess.

kinda saw this coming wilsons public insults towards coliacovo.....i was never a fan of steen ......only time will tell

I don't see this as making much sense at all. I guess I'd say St. Louis won, because I see Steen as the best of the bunch that was involved in the deal.

Leafs won this one. Stempniak is going to be a great player and is on a roll right now.

I think Stempniak is as good as he's going to get. In fact, I think he's already put up his career best for numbers.
