Greg Oden may or may not become an unstoppable force, but it is clear that it will take time.

Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo look like future all-stars. Rudy Fernandez is putting up great numbers in limited playing time.

But Derrick Rose .. from day 1, he was given the keys to the car, and is in full control. The offense is geared 100% towards him. For those that haven't seen any Bulls games, they basically run a spread offense where Rose is allowed to penetrate and either finish or dish it out, because his team has no post-up threat. And the guy is getting a ton of boards as well.

And remember guys -- Derrick Rose was projected by many to be great, but not immediately. Yet he is great already, and his numbers will only increase, especially with Hinrich gone for most of the season.

It's just way too early to talk about this. It's true that he's evolving faster than people expected but so much can happen between now and then. He's the favorite right now cause he has the advantage of being the go to guy on a nice team. If he proves he can handle it, the award will be his, but again, it's just way too early.

If D'Antoni had waited to see the results of the lottery... Could you imagine Rose under him? I think those two were made for each other.
