Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash and Booker T. Together they look like douchebags all wearing suits acting cool. And they have 75 years in the business and deserve respect, even though the apparent leader doesn't even have 10 years in the business.

And together, they will hold down dudes who can actually wrestle.

WTF?

Can't Russo (is he still writing for TNA?) come up with a new storyline? He kinda used this old dudes vs new dudes one 8 years ago with New Blood vs Millionaires Club.

Interesting to note, in 8 years Booker has gone from New Blood to Old Blood, and during that same time, Angle has gone from Rookie to leader of the Legends.

How about the less than spectacular announcement that would shock the wrestling world?

It's really disheartening to see this story line. TNA should seriously get rid of Russo.

And what was the deal with the belt Booker T was holding? I only caught the last segment and that's the first of TNA I'd watched in about 2 months.

It's the TNA Legends Championship for whatever reason. He will be defending it against Christian at the next PPV. Why he has it or the purpose of it is really up in the air at this point.

Yikes. I don't see the Legends Championship ending well.

i don't see this whole storyline ending well.

Booker is defending the Legends belt against Christian. If Christian loses, he has to join the Mafia. Which will happen since if Booker loses, it destorys his claim of being a legend. So Christian will be resistant and still have troubles within. He might come out of this whole thing looking good if he becomes a mega face after being kicked out down the line or turns on the mafia.

But of course, that situation will arise, where we think he's growing tired of the MEM crap, and he's gonna help whatever babyface they're against, and then he'll beat the shit out of that guy and become a real member and be buried at the bottom of that group.

I dont watch the show but that sounds like it could be alright,I was always a fan of stables and groups of wrestlers teaming up together.

Russo is a part of a team, have to blame everybody not just him.

NO

Russo has maybe a dozen angles he can book, and he's been using them for 10 years. Russo is a god awful, terrible, terrible booker. He always has been (yes even in WWF I don't care what anyone says.) and he always will be. He tries using too many stupid swerves and gimmicks and can't seems to get the fact into his head that this is wrestling. Vince Russo is not a fan of wrestling. He is a fan of writing junk that has the backdrop of a Pro Wrestling company, plain and simple. He needs to go, be fired, and no one should ever hire him again if and when he gets released. The ONLY reason he is there is because he put the belt on Jarrett in WCW and Jarrett likes him, plain and simple.

I turned on TNA a couple weeks ago and just couldnt get into it at all.

I will say its come A LONG way since back when they were a weekly PPV company. I cant believe they are even still around...especailly since Pro Wrestling has taken such a shit in ratings for the past 7 or so years now.

Even though the ratings are down by half WWE is still usually the top rated show on USA, and TNA is one of the better rated shows in Spike.

What other shows are on USA? Not much, right?

Doesn't matter, if you were USA why would you cut your top rated show?

Im not saying they should pull it, Im just asking if theres actually any other shows that are capable of pulling any ratings.

I like the angle for some reason. The industry is dieing for a new strong Stable.

The "Main Event Mafia" just feels like a cheap ass shot at NWO.

It bothers me so much when watching TNA, because I could think of hundreds of better storylines for every character.

A strong stable is completely pointless if they don't build up another strong stable to feud with them, and right now the "new guys" (bullshit) haven't gotten any heat back on them, and unfortunately I don't know if they will.
